Sewers

The sewers contain a variety of mysterious and eerie elements, including new characters and Tasks. The underworld of the Elderfield realm, here you can find the food item Slimeweed, fish for Rot Puffer & Slimefish (both of which require a fishing rod and maggots as bait). You will also come across a couple of monsters, the Dripper and Pipe Cleaner. There are several entrances/exits to the sewers, some of which cannot be accessed immediately until you complete certain tasks. One of the three-pieced missions you'll attain in the sewers is from the Gatekeeper, a grim looking character that has lost some sets of keys. Another interesting figure is The Garbage Man, an NPC who sells miscellaneous items, typically string and mystery meat amongst other things, and will restock his inventory every Mondays and Thursdays. One of the main uses for the sewers is accessing the Lakefront, east of the entrance below the the Local Store. There is also a treasure map location hidden somewhere in its murky walls, as well as mysteries, gods to seek boons from and a strange figure who seems somewhat.... aquatic.

Lakefront

Accessed via the sewers (from the entrance in the park). Fisherman Herb can be found here, who will teach the player how to fish.

Church

View source image: Town3

Every Sunday, players can align themselves with one of the Old Gods. Doing so will give the player several stat modifiers, unlock special crafting recipes via the God Forge, and will allow the player to enter corresponding locked God Doors found throughout the world. The church has a Primary Storage Chest, as well as the God Forge.

Nursery

Several special types of seeds can be purchased here, such as flower seeds, tree seeds, and special seeds. The seeds sold here differ from those sold by Old Man Crawford in that they can only be planted by selecting the seed from the inventory and placing them in the appropriate area (similar to decorative objects). Flower seeds can be planted in the flower plots which surround the Farmhouse. Tree seeds can be planted on any grass tile on the Farm or Ranch maps. Special seeds can be placed in the 2x2 special plots to the west of the Farmhouse. Seeds sold from the Nursery do not require water.

Pet Shop

Various cosmetic pets are sold here. These pets can be placed in any area that other objects can be placed in. These areas include: Home, Farm, Ranch, Basement, and Workshop. Pets cannot be placed in storage, so must either be carried by the player or placed in the world. Pets can be given a name, and can be re-named at any time. Pets do not require food or any other upkeep - they are purely cosmetic.

Library

The Library is home to a variety of rare items. Namely, many Ritual Tomes, Experience Books, and Recipe Books. The layout of the Library changes once per week (after the player bathes), or at any time resources or mines are reset. Most paths and doors will be blocked, so visiting the Library regularly is the only way to find all of the hidden items. Many of the items found in the Library are unique to this area.
