Pack the bait.
Find your fish.
A searchable fishing notebook: 39 catches, 42 routes, all four price qualities, and a target list that groups your next trip by fishing spot.

Based on the developer-endorsed wiki's Fishing, Items and Art Gallery pages. Source differences stay visible. These page revisions do not identify a tested game build.
BEFORE YOU CAST
Lakefront: Worm or Leech. Sewers: Maggot. Mall Stalktopus: Bug. Old Woods campsite: mostly Dragonfly. Catacombs: Firefly. Check the row before you travel: some seasonal fish have unknown bait, and Lugworm is listed for the Fishing Contest.
THE COMPLETE CATCH REGISTER
What are you fishing for?
Choose your spot and conditions, then add catches to My trip. A question mark means the source has no price. “Not specified” means the condition is unknown; it does not promise an all-season catch.
Season and time filters show documented conditions plus unspecified rows by default. Conflicting and unknown prices sort below known prices. The gallery filter shows species; the Red Room fish painting requires Void quality.
No catches match these filters. Clear a filter or include unspecified conditions.

A SMALL PLAN FOR YOUR NEXT OUTING
My fishing trip
Add a target beside any fish to collect its documented spots and bait here. A fish with more than one route appears at each possible stop. This is a personal species reminder, not an Art Gallery completion tracker.
No targets yet. Add a fish from the table to start packing.
GET READY
Bait, rods and the fishing minigame
- Talk to Fisherman Herb at the Lakefront. The wiki lists the Old Fishing Rod as his first-conversation gift.
- Equip your rod with the bait for the water. Select “Use” on a rod to check its bait. Sturdy and Quality rods are forged in the Workshop; the wiki labels the three rods Fishing Lv. 1, 2 and 3.
- Wait for a bite, then watch the blue bar. Repeatedly click when the arrow is over the blue bar until the progress bar fills.
| Where / bait | How the wiki says to obtain it |
|---|---|
| Lakefront · Worm / Leech | Bait Pack (Tier 1). |
| Sewers · Maggot | Maggot Man news event. |
| Mall · Bug | Bait Pack (Tier 2). The bait paragraph names the Administrator's Office; the Stalktopus fish table says F1 Hallway. The row follows the fish table and preserves this source difference. |
| Campsite · Dragonfly | Bug catching or Bait Pack (Tier 2). |
| Campsite · Lugworm | Bait Pack (Tier 2). Listed for use during the Fishing Contest only. |
| Catacombs · Firefly | Bug catching in the Catacombs or Bait Pack (Tier 2). |
Leaving a crab pot? Put it in outdoor water, add bait and collect the next day. The wiki's general instruction says any bait; its species table documents Worm. We show Worm as a supported option without claiming it is the only one.

CHECK THE RECORD
Sources and visible differences
The table adapts the complete Fishing page, with equipment and quality cross-checks from Items and collection clues from Art Gallery. We read the actual season icon titles. Empty cells stay unknown, and a shorter Gallery hint does not invalidate the fuller Fishing season list.
Some records disagree. Corpsefish Silver is 26g in one Fishing row and 27g in another. Ancient Manta and four Catacombs fish have different Normal prices in Fishing and Items. Mud Serpent also has conflicting locations and an unusual price series. Open the row's notes for both statements; no winning value has been invented.
