ELDERFIELDENGLISH FIELD GUIDE

FARM NOTEBOOK · PLANT WITH A DEADLINE

Will your crop be ready before the season turns?

Plan the first harvest and every listed regrowth from all 38 crops in the official wiki. Check the dates, see the season boundary, then choose what fits your remaining days.

Base schedules from the wiki's Crops revision of 4 September 2026. Water every day, apply no growth bonuses and harvest as soon as crops are ready. These are calculated dates, not release-build gameplay measurements.

THE NIGHT AFTER PLANTING COUNTS FIRST

Wheat planted on day 1 is ready on day 5. Its four growth nights do not include planting day. Day 24 is its last base planting date for a harvest by day 28. Regrowing crops also have a total harvest limit—Bean produces three listed harvests, not an endless supply.

Your planting plan

Choose the season you intend to plant in, not the season when a vendor sells the seed. One planting is tracked through its listed harvests.

The complete crop notebook

Browse 16 common crops, 8 seasonal crops, 3 cursed crops, 3 special crops, 4 flowers and 4 trees. Select a crop name to plan it. On a small screen, scroll the table sideways to compare yields and prices.

Growth and regrowth are nights. Yield is the wiki's listed range per harvest. Sell prices are per item, in the wiki's icon order; “?” is unknown, not zero. A dash means no regrowth is listed. † marks a field with a source note.

The seed vendor sells Tomato in Harvest; the listed growing seasons are Harvest and Witch. Its four base harvests require 30 nights in total, so the full cycle always crosses a season boundary.

Read the forecast like a farm notebook

  1. Count nights, then harvest promptly

The first date is planting day plus growth nights. Later dates add the listed regrowth interval, assuming you collect each harvest when it becomes ready. Bean planted on Rebirth 1 therefore has base dates of Rebirth 9, 11 and 13. Delayed collection can shift later dates.

  2. Check every season the planting crosses

A season has 28 days. Plot crops outside their growing season wither at the change. A Tomato planted on Harvest 1 has base harvest dates of Harvest 25 and 27, then Witch 1 and 3; both seasons appear in its crop entry. Planting the same crop in Witch reaches unlisted Death before the final harvests.

  3. Use the deadline to find alternatives

The latest first-harvest planting day is 28 minus growth nights. For a finite crop, the final-harvest deadline also subtracts every required regrowth interval. The “First harvest fits” and “All listed harvests fit” filters turn those calculations into a shortlist for your chosen day.

  4. Keep growth bonuses outside this baseline

Farming levels, growth runes, events and effigies can affect growth or yield. Their stacking and rounding are not established here. Missed watering, delayed harvests, crows and other crop losses are also outside the forecast; the dates assume the planting remains intact. The game day advances at midnight even if you do not sleep.

Buying is different from planting. The wiki lists Pea seeds for sale on Harvest 27, but eight base growth nights cannot produce a harvest before that season ends. Its growing icons are Rebirth and Harvest. Keep late-bought seeds for an allowed season. Most common seeds are sold by Old Man Crawford, with some unlocked through tasks.

Special planting conditions

Cursed crops need the Ritual of the Void. Offer an Offering of the Void at a Ritual Brazier placed in the center of the plot. The planner assumes this condition is met. Special seeds come from drops, NPCs, chests or quests rather than a listed shop price.

Trees have unlimited harvests in the source table, so the planner shows four dates as a preview. Their season icons do not explain whether an unlisted season stops growth, stops fruiting or harms the tree. Dates beyond that boundary remain conditional.

Sources, unknowns and changes

The entire 38-row Crops table was checked against the captured Farming tables. Their numbers and season icons match. That is a cross-check within the same community-maintained official wiki, not independent playtesting.

  • Grape: Crops and Farming list a 90g seed; Shops lists 100g. The table retains 90g with a conflict marker.
  • Gloomhops: Crops and Farming show Harvest, Witch and Death. Art Gallery instead lists Rebirth, Harvest and Witch. Both sources agree on Harvest and Witch. Dates touching Rebirth or Death remain conditional until that discrepancy is resolved in game.
  • Unknown values: Strawberry and Duskmelon prices, Duskmelon yield, some Eldersprout, Soulfruit and Tentacle prices, and Head Crop sale value are incomplete. The table preserves those gaps.
  • Tentacle: the wiki's 100 / 246 / ? / 200g sequence is unusual. It is shown as reported and does not support a quality-price or profit formula.
  • Flowers: the official 1 September v0.11.17 demo update says flowers are planted like other crops and require watering. The wiki's older “Flower Bed Crops” wording is not used here to impose a current planting-location rule.
