Ranch building can be bought and constructed from Klaus' Shop.

Care
Raising animals is fairly simple. If you keep them fed, they will produce animal Products. To feed your animals, place enough Animal Feed for each of them into their Trough before midnight.
Each animal has a friendship level, which influences the size and quality of their products. Feeding you animals and petting them will raise their friendship. Each can be done once per day. Failing to feed them and poor weather will lower their happiness. Petting is optional. You can leave an animal unattended without losing friendship as long as they have enough feed.
